Product Introduction
Developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Plastic Geocells are three-dimensional expandable panels made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polyester, or other polymer materials. It has the characteristics of telescopic, transport and so on. During construction, it can be stretched into a network, filled with soil, gravel, concrete and other loose materials, to form a structure with strong lateral constraints and stiffness. When expanded during installation, the interconnected strips form a flexible three-dimensional honeycomb wall in which the specified fill material is placed and compacted. This creates a free drainage system that holds the fill material in place and provides restraint by stretching the reinforcement to prevent mass movement. The Plastic Geocell is mainly used to stabilize road and railway subgrade, to withstand the load embankment and shallow river treatment and so on.
